The Annual Meetings offer a unique opportunity for physicists in different stages of their career to network locally and be informed about current activities and career choices in physics. Our Annual Meetings represent a "mini-March meeting", where presentations by young scientists are punctuated by plenary sessions with experts presenting diverse topics such as Neutrino Physics, Physics in Africa, Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Dark Energy in the Universe, Science Communication, Biofuels, Comet Dust, or Solar Power. A Saturday panel discussion informs students and job seekers on career paths outside academia. High school teachers are encouraged to participate in Annual Meetings, and industrial physicists are invited to talk about their work.
