The following lectureships and travel grants are intended to encourage collaborations and to bring international speakers at the APS March and April Meetings. APS allocates resources and sustains a voluntary association of members within the Forum on International Physics (FIP) to enhance its global engagement with physicists around the world.
This Lectureship was endowed by Esther Hoffman Beller for the purpose of bringing distinguished physicists from abroad as invited speakers at APS meetings.

Between 2011 and 2019, APS and the Sociedade Brasileira de Física (SBF) co-sponsored the exchange of physics PhD students, postdocs, and professors between the United States and Brazil. The final application cycle for this program closed in 2018.

Between 2008 and 2019, the Indo-US Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and APS supported the exchange of physicists, physics PhD students, and postdocs between India and the United States. The final application cycle for this program closed in December 2018.

The Robert E. Marshak Lectureship was endowed by Ruth Marshak in honor of her husband to provide travel support for physicists of any career level (i.e., from graduate student to senior scientist) from developing nations or Eastern Europe to speak at APS meetings.
