Elections

Dear FGSA Members,

FGSA is currently seeking nominations for several FGSA Executive Committee positions including the following:

  • Councilor
  • Treasurer
  • Chair-Elect
  • International Student Representative

The executive committee is an active group of graduate students from around the world who advocate for graduate students and are very involved in the greater physics community. This is an excellent opportunity to gain valuable experience by interacting with diverse individuals within the physics community.

FGSA members can be self-nominated or nominated by someone else. The nomination should include a recent picture, brief biography, and a candidate statement, no longer than 2000 characters.

All nominations must be emailed to fgsaelection@aps.org by 11:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. We hope that you take the time to make a nomination for these important positions and thank you again for your support.
