Congratulations to the newly elected Vice Chair, Elena Aprile. Elisa Molinari and Toyoko Orimoto have been elected as Members-at-Large. They will begin their positions effective on January 1, 2017.
The deadline for submission of nominations for the 2017 John Wheatley Award is July 1, 2016.
The deadline for APS Fellowship nominations for FIP members is May 31, 2016.
Ideas for topics and speakers for the FIP invited sessions at the 2016 March and April meetings are due by August 3.

India-US Travel Grant. The Indo‑U.S. Science and Technology Forum (IUSSTF) and APS have a program to sponsor the exchange of physicists and physics graduate students between India and the United States.
The Executive Committee of the Forum on International Physics consists of 13 voting members. The following positions become vacant beginning January 2012: 1) Vice-Chair 2) Two Members-at-Large. We invite you to nominate candidates for these positions.
